Rogers Park Eye Exam
If you cannot remember the last time you had an eye exam, you should contact us at Evanston Eyecare. One of our expert optometrists will be able to provide you with a
Rogers Park eye exam, or offer you any eye care you may need at a particular time.
At our vision practice, patients can have a comprehensive
Rogers Park eye exam, a contact lens exam and fitting, or receive many other different eye care services. During both our comprehensive eye exam and contact lens exam your eyes will be thoroughly screened for many different eye diseases and disorders including: glaucoma; cataracts; diabetic retinopathy; macular degeneration; dry eyes; retinal tears; and other problems of the cornea, macula, and retina. Your eyes will also be checked to see if you have any refractive errors which can affect your ability to see clearly. These refractive errors can include astigmatism, nearsightedness, and farsightedness. These vision problems can easily be corrected with prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses. At our vision practice we are happy to provide complete eye care for both adults and children. If glaucoma runs in your family, you will want to be particularly careful about not missing your periodic eye exam to make sure you have a glaucoma screening. Glaucoma is a serious disease of the eye that can be associated with progressive loss of peripheral vision. If you had suffered some type of serious vision loss, and have been diagnosed with low vision, we can help you with low vision treatment. Low-vision treatment can help patients to see better with the use of custom glasses, full-spectrum lighting or other vision aids. Our on-site optical lab allows many patients to receive their new eyeglasses at the same time their eyeglass prescription is written.
